hello. i am currently taking safety and security at pittsburgh technical institute in oakdale and would like to get into the positition of constable.

First you contact the Bureau of Elections in your county of residence. It helps if you are a registered voter because you need to know what district / ward that you live in to figure out who is the constable there. The county can tell you if there is a constable there or if it is vacant. If there is a constable there ask his name and when his term is up. You can either ask him to make you his deputy or run against him after his 6 year term is up. If it is vacant you may be appointed to the vacant position for the remainder of the 6 year term. The Clerk of Courts maybe able to help you with this process. Who you nedd to talk to at the Court House differs depending on where you live.
